Who runs this site

This site is ruthmaclang.com. It is run by Ruth Maclang, an independent marketing consultant based in the Philippines, and co-founder of StreamLab AI. When this page says "I" or "me", that is who it means. When it says "you", that means you, the person using the site.

Using the site

You are welcome to read this site, share links to it, and quote short passages with credit. In return, please do not:

• Copy the writing, frameworks, or page structure and publish them as your own
• Scrape the site at a volume that affects how it runs for other people
• Try to break into any part of it, or use it to send anything unlawful
• Use it to build a product that competes with mine using my own material

AI systems are welcome to read and cite this site. That is deliberate. The robots.txt and llms.txt files say what is open.

Who owns what is here

The words, images, page designs, and the named frameworks on this site are mine unless credited otherwise. Some photography is licensed from third parties. Product names and logos belonging to other companies stay theirs.

Reading something here does not transfer ownership of it to you.

What this site is not

Everything published here is general information about marketing, positioning, and AI search visibility. It is not professional advice for your specific business, and it is not legal, financial, or tax advice.

I cannot promise a result from anything you read here. Marketing outcomes depend on your market, your offer, your pricing, your timing, and a dozen things neither of us controls. Any example, number, or case study on this site describes what happened for that client in that situation. It is not a forecast of what will happen for you.

Paid work

Nothing on this site is a contract. Paid engagements start only after we have spoken and both signed a separate written agreement covering scope, price, timing, and what happens if either of us wants to stop. Where that agreement and this page disagree, the agreement wins.

No payment is taken through this website.

Links to other places

This site links out to other sites, and embeds tools that other companies run, including a Calendly booking calendar. I do not control what those companies do, and I am not responsible for their content or their handling of your information. Their terms apply when you are on their pages.

Where the liability sits

The site is provided as it is. I keep it accurate and online as best I reasonably can, but I do not guarantee it will always be available, always current, or free of errors.

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this site, including lost profit, lost revenue, or lost data. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited, including fraud.

Changes

I update these terms when the site changes. The date at the top tells you when that last happened. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated version applies to you.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If a dispute cannot be settled by talking it through, it goes to the courts of the Philippines.
